About me

Martina Donolato is an italian Horn Player born in 1999 in the province of Venice. She began her studies in the High School of Music and she continued her Bachelor of Music in Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice in the class of Prof. Claude Padoan, where she completed her studies with the highest note. She started her studies with Prof. Mischa Greull in the Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste where she completed her Master in Konzert Performance and where she began a new course of Master Specialized Solist with Prof. Felix Dervaux.

In 2024 she won the Audition for the Praktikum in Sinfonieorchester Biel-Solothurn. She’s the winner of the scolarship “Giovanni Rohr” brass-section in 2021.

She attended lessons from internationally ronowned horn players as Radovan Vlatkovic, Pascal Deuber, Lionel Pointet, Froydis Ree Wekre, Christian Lampert, Nigel Downing, Glen Borling, Andrea Cesari, Johannes Hinterholzer, Sybille Mahni.

She’s active in various chamber music projects in Switzerland and Italy, for example the famous Ravello Festival and Samedan Chamber music festival.

She collaborates as Solo Horn and Tutti Horn with Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Zurcher Kammerphilarmonie, Orchestra del Teatro Verdi di Trieste, Sinfonieorchester Biel-Solothurn.
